It has been a little over a year since we updated the site. Does this mean the Rex was just laying around doing nothing? No no no... He immersed himself in a new application of his craft. He has developed methods for polishing out and tinting wind shields; motorcycle, aircraft and helicopters!

Once he perfected that craft, he moved on to applying designs and colors to concrete; Floors walls, sidewalks, and more.

Because this is such a new and exciting application, we decided to create a new site, dedicated to showcasing the striking results. Keep checking back for the site address for this new adventure:

It is so, [the newest are the Miata wheels.. not sure about this Number One title though....]

This site features the work of Rex Hoffman of Hoffman Ink. By combining two technologies, polymer coating and dye sublimation, he is able to create objects of incredible beauty. In addition to the vibrant colors and striking designs, his work is 'functional'. That is, you can use it.

Words don't describe the work as well as pictures, so we have set up galleries for your browsing pleasure...

Sports equipment area: Golf equipment [putters and heads], bicycle frames, and ski poles

Kitchen accessories: Primarily drinking glasses of all sorts and wine stoppers.

Interior Design a: [architectural accessories, ] Examples of door knobs, door handles, faucets, taps and mixers, towel rings and complete sets of kitchen and bathroom hardware and glass blocks.

Decorative and misc.: Things that go beyond a simple category. Sun catchers, glass plates, jewelry boxes, and a steel guitar!

Autos and Parts: Car parts [wheel rims, air cleaner covers], a motorcycle, and the fenders of Rex's favorite Nissan truck.
