I have been receiving notes asking for reservations, directions and other information... sorry can't help. Wish I had the time to go play golf my self!
How Can I purchase your work?
1] Find something you like and send me an email. We will set up a time to talk on the phone. I accept cash, money orders and checks.
2] I show my work at various art fairs, and car shows. If you get on the email list, I will let you know when and where I will be. Getting on the list is easy: just send an email requesting to 'join'.
3] Some of my smaller items [glassware primarily] is for sale at retail shops. I will post the names of the stores on the front page of this site, and list them in my informal news letter [join the email list! lol]
Although I am not set up to accept credit cards now, In the near future,I am going to put Pay Pal as a payment option on this site.
What is your Return Policy?
If you do not like what you have purchased, it can be returned within 30 days of receipt. You will have to pay for the return shipping though.
Your money will be refunded once the item arrives back here.
I will always attempt to work out any problems. The number of returns I have had can be counted on one hand. Not bad for 7 years in business!
Do you do custom work?
There are few things that I do that are repeatable so in that respect, all my work is "custom". If you see something you like, I can probably produce something similar. Some pieces I have done are virtually impossible to repeat...like when the cat jumped on my bench and spilled something...
Do the colors fade? Do you need any special treatment?
The colors will fade after prolonged exposure to UV light and heat. That is not to say that, for instance, the golf clubs will fade. I have been playing with my clubs for five years without any problem. They are not subject to very much sunlight at any one time.
The flames on my truck are a different story. The colors on the hood have faded significantly over the last three years, but are still very prominent....
All of the glassware I work with needs to be hand washed. Most of the polycarbonate is dishwasher safe. [for any item you purchase, I will let you know the care and cleaning specifics]
The colors and images on the metal products are embedded in 'powder coat' . This material is very sturdy and durable. They use this stuff to protect valves on outdoor pipelines!
One additional thought: the coating material is not indestructible. Do I have to remind you not to clean with abrasive detergents, harsh chemicals, steel wool, or flame throwers???
Where is Templeton?
Just up the road from San Luis Obispo, and down the road from Paso Robles. The county is located on the coast of California in between Los Angeles and San Francisco, California.
Why no phone number, why the PO Box?
I live way out in the country and the phone service is a little 'iffy' at times. The best way to communicate with me is through email first, then we can set a time to phone each other. It is very rural out here, so PO Boxes are the way it is.
What is your Privacy Policy?
The email lists are for communicating with customers and friends. We will never share or sell this list.
Is this site secure?
Not for Financial transactions. At this time I am not set up to do financial transaction on this site. However, I intend to add Pay Pal soon. They have a very secure system too.
Is this a secret process?
The two processes I use are really not secret, but the way I combine them seems to be unique to my style. Others don't seem to be able to replicate my designs and quality. I may teach some folks how some day, but not this week [LOL].
Who is the we?
I am an artist type and not an internet techie. I have some one that maintains this website. His name is Dave, and lives in San Diego. And in the interest of 'full disclosure', he is my brother. He likes fooling with this stuff, I don't.
